Huntingdon's Nash Earns CCS Women's Volleyball Player of the Week

ATLANTA - Huntingdon College's Kamea Nash has been named the Collegiate Conference of the South's Player of the Week for the Week of September 19th, 2022.

Player of the Week | Kamea Nash, Huntingdon
Nash posted 55 kills in helping lead Huntingdon to a 4-0 week. She hit .538 and added 48 digs. 

Defensive Player of the Week | Paige Broussard, Belhaven
Broussard totaled 59 digs and 12 assists as she helped lead Belhaven to a 2-1 week.

Rookie of the Week | Ally Sokolow, Maryville (2x)
Sokolow contributed 14 digs in Maryville's 3-2 comeback victory against Belhaven. The Scots trailed 2-1 before rallying, and then beat Piedmont to stretch their regular season conference winning streak to 40 matches. She posted 25 digs for the weekend to go along with six service aces. Tops on team with 148 digs and second with 25 aces.

ABOUT THE COLLEGIATE CONFERENCE OF THE SOUTH
The CCS is an NCAA Division III athletic conference that began play during the 2022-23 academic year. The conference features nine members and sponsors championships across 14 sports. In addition to sharing the member institutions' geographic identity, the name 'Collegiate Conference of the South' is indicative of a shared commitment to academic excellence, which is commensurate with the NCAA Division III philosophy.
