CHAMPIONSHIP CENTRAL
ATLANTA, Ga. (October 28, 2025) - The Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) is proud to announce the official seedings and bracket for the 2025 CCS Women’s Soccer Championship Tournament, scheduled for November 1–8. Teams earned points throughout the regular season for wins and ties to determine seeding for postseason play.
Now in its fourth edition, the tournament will feature six competitive programs vying for the conference crown, with each matchup hosted by the higher-seeded team.
Tournament play kicks off on Saturday, November 1, with two exciting opening-round matchups:
- No. 3 seed Piedmont (14-4, 6-2 CCS) hosts No. 6 seed LaGrange (4-10-3. 2-4-2 CCS) in the tournament’s opening contest.
- No. 4 seed Covenant (6-8-2, 5-2-1 CCS) welcomes No. 5 seed Asbury (9-6-3, 4-3-1 CCS) in the second match of the day.
The tournament’s top two seeds receive a first-round bye and will open play in the semifinal round on Tuesday, November 4:
- No. 1 seed Maryville (9-7, 7-1 CCS) will face the winner of the Covenant-Asbury matchup.
- No. 2 seed Belhaven (11-4-3, 6-1-1 CCS) will meet the winner of the Piedmont-LaGrange contest.
The victors of each semifinal will advance to the championship match on Saturday, November 8, where the 2025 CCS Women’s Soccer Champion will be crowned.

ABOUT THE COLLEGIATE CONFERENCE OF THE SOUTH (CCS)
The CCS is an NCAA Division III athletic conference that began play during the 2022-23 academic year. The conference features nine member institutions (Agnes Scott College, Asbury University, Belhaven University, Covenant College, Huntingdon College, LaGrange College, Maryville College, Piedmont University, and Wesleyan College) and sponsors championships across 14 sports. In addition to sharing the member institutions' geographic identity, the name 'Collegiate Conference of the South' is indicative of a shared commitment to academic excellence, which is commensurate with the NCAA Division III philosophy.
