Blazers Men's Soccer Advances to CCS Semifinals

JACKSON - The Belhaven Men's Soccer team secured their third consecutive CCS Semifinal appearance behind a four-goal second half in a 5-0 win against Huntingdon.

The Blazers struck first on an own-goal off a corner kick to take a 1-0 lead heading into the locker room. After the 15-minute break, the Blazers came out firing on all cylinders. Courtland Williams scored off a set piece just 40 seconds into the second half. The Blazers continued to put pressure on the Hawks backs, scoring their next three goals in a 3:16 span to take a commanding 5-0 lead.

Avery Anders finished with two goals in the 56th and 58th minutes respectively. 40 seconds after Anders' last goal, Sanchez finished a phenomenal Samuel Hadley assist for the fifth and final goal of the evening.

The Blazers out-shot the Hawks 26-5, with half of Belhaven's shots on target.

Danny Bahena, who was recently named 2025 CCS Goalie of the Year for the second consecutive season, finished with his sixth clean sheet of the season and four saves.
