ATLANTA, Ga. (November 17, 2025) – The Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) has announced its Men’s Basketball Players of the Week.
Kani Rashied-Henry (LaGrange) was named
Player of the Week, while
Braylon Dame (Belhaven) earned
Rookie of the Week, released by the league office on Monday.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Kani Rashied-Henry, LaGrange
Forward | Sophomore | Tyrone, Ga.
LaGrange’s Kani Rashied-Henry continued his dominant start to the season, recording his third straight double-double while averaging 15.5 points, 12.0 rebounds, and 3.0 blocks per game over two outings. The sophomore forward shot an impressive 82.4 percent from the field for the week. Rashied-Henry opened with a standout 19-point, 11-rebound performance in a 92–87 win at Brevard on Wednesday, then followed with 12 points and 13 boards against Millsaps on Saturday.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK– Braylon Dame, Belhaven

Belhaven freshman guard Braylon Dame made an early impression, averaging 18.5 points per game during the Blazers’ 1–1 week. Dame delivered a breakout performance in Belhaven’s victory over Southeastern Baptist, scoring a career-high 22 points to lead all players.

ABOUT THE COLLEGIATE CONFERENCE OF THE SOUTH (CCS)
The CCS is an NCAA Division III athletic conference that began play during the 2022-23 academic year. The conference features nine member institutions (Agnes Scott College, Asbury University, Belhaven University, Covenant College, Huntingdon College, LaGrange College, Maryville College, Piedmont University, and Wesleyan College) and sponsors championships across 14 sports. In addition to sharing the member institutions' geographic identity, the name 'Collegiate Conference of the South' is indicative of a shared commitment to academic excellence, which is commensurate with the NCAA Division III philosophy.
