ATLANTA, Ga. (September 3, 2025) – Savannah Jerome (Piedmont) was named Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, while Sheridan Harrison (Asbury) earned Defensive Player of the Week, released by the league office on Wednesday.
 
Megan Gates (Piedmont) was also tabbed Rookie of the Week.
 
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Savannah Jerome, Piedmont

Piedmont senior forward Savannah Jerome provided the spark for the Lions’ attack, scoring three goals across four games in the opening week. Jerome netted a pair of goals in the season-opening win over Trinity Washington before adding the game-winner in a road victory at Regent University.
 
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Sheridan Harrison, Asbury

Asbury junior goalkeeper Sheridan Harrison opened the season with back-to-back shutouts, anchoring the Eagles’ defense in a strong opening week. Harrison recorded five saves while playing all 90 minutes in both contests to secure consecutive clean sheets.
 
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK – Megan Gates, Piedmont

Piedmont freshman midfielder Megan Gates made an immediate impact in her debut, tallying two goals and an assist in the Lions’ season-opening win over Trinity Washington.
