ATLANTA, Ga. (October 31, 2026) - The Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) announced its 2026 Men’s Soccer all-conference award winners, as voted on by the league’s head coaches.
Asbury’s Tyson Absher and Belhaven’s Ciaran Colvin headline this year’s individual honors as Offensive Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year, respectively. Belhaven goalkeeper Justin Ramirez earned Goalkeeper of the Year recognition, while Piedmont’s Daris Mustic was selected as Rookie of the Year.
Asbury head coach Ben Andrews rounded out the superlative award winners as Coach of the Year after guiding the Eagles to the CCS regular-season title and No. 1 seed in the conference tournament.
Offensive Player of the Year | Tyson Absher, Asbury
Absher was a consistent attacking threat for the Eagles throughout his senior campaign, finishing among the conference leaders in nearly every major offensive category. The senior winger scored nine goals and added an assist for 19 points while generating a conference-leading 39 shots. His nine goals ranked second in the CCS, while his 16 shots on goal placed fifth. Absher was particularly effective when the Eagles needed a decisive goal, producing a league-best four game-winners. He also ranked second in the conference at 1.58 points per game, helping power Asbury to the top of the CCS regular-season standings.
Defensive Player of the Year | Ciaran Colvin, Belhaven
Colvin provided the foundation for Belhaven’s back line, anchoring the Blazers’ central defense in all 17 matches this season. He led all Belhaven outfield players in minutes played and contributed to each of the Blazers’ four clean sheets, playing the full 90 minutes in three of those performances. Colvin also made his presence felt going forward, finishing with two goals and two assists. His four goal contributions were the most among Belhaven defenders.
Goalkeeper of the Year | Justin Ramirez, Belhaven
Ramirez stepped into the starting role for the first time and helped Belhaven establish one of the conference’s strongest defensive units. The sophomore finished second in the CCS with a 1.42 goals-against average and tied for second in total clean sheets. He also ranked fourth in both save percentage (.708) and total saves (51). With Ramirez in goal, Belhaven finished with the third-best defensive record in the conference, providing the Blazers with a steady presence throughout his first season as the full-time starter.
Rookie of the Year | Daris Mustic, Piedmont
Mustic made an immediate impression in his first collegiate season, emerging as one of the CCS’s most productive attacking players and one of the DIII’s top rookie scorers. The Piedmont newcomer finished the season with 13 goals and one assist for 27 points, placing 20 of his 27 shots on goal. His scoring production placed him among the national leaders in goals and points while also putting him at or near the top of the conference in both categories. Mustic’s breakout season also earned him two CCS Rookie of the Week selections before culminating in Rookie of the Year honors.
Coach of the Year | Ben Andrews, Asbury
Andrews engineered a significant turnaround for the Eagles in his 17th season as a head coach, guiding Asbury from missing the CCS Tournament a season ago to the 2026 regular season championship title and No. 1 postseason seed. The Eagles finished conference play at 4-1 and closed the regular season by earning a win or draw in seven of their final eight matches. Asbury also produced the CCS’s top defensive record, conceding just 15 goals overall and only four during conference play. The Eagles enter the postseason with a 6-4-4 overall record and a first-round bye into the CCS semifinals.
Covenant led all institutions with seven All-CCS selections, while Asbury and Belhaven each earned six. LaGrange placed three student-athletes on the all-conference teams, followed by Piedmont with two.
