Week 2: CCS Men’s Soccer Players of the Week

ATLANTA, Ga. (September 15, 2026) – Kenny Pameni (LaGrange) was named Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) Men’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, while Braeden Hayes (LaGrange) earned Defensive Player of the Week, released by the league office on Tuesday.
 
Daris Mustic (Piedmont) was also tabbed Rookie of the Week.
 
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Kenny Pameni, LaGrange
Forward  |  Junior  |  Atlanta, Ga.
 
Pameni powered LaGrange’s attack with two goals and an assist in Saturday’s 4-3 setback to William Peace. He finished the week with five points on six shots, placing four on frame, while logging 73 minutes as the Panthers went 1-1.
 
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Braeden Hayes, LaGrange
Goalkeeper  |  Sophomore  |  St. Augustine, Fla.
 
Hayes earned the first shutout of his collegiate career in LaGrange’s win at Huntingdon, making five saves to preserve the clean sheet. He totaled 13 saves across 180 minutes for the week and posted a .765 save percentage as the Panthers finished 1-1.
 
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK – Daris Mustic, Piedmont
Forward  |  Freshman  |  Suwanee, Ga.                          
 
Mustic delivered a productive week for Piedmont, scoring three goals for six points across three matches. He recorded nine shots, including six on goal, over 114 minutes as the Lions posted a 1-1-1 record.

ABOUT THE COLLEGIATE CONFERENCE OF THE SOUTH
The CCS is an NCAA Division III athletic conference that began play during the 2022-23 academic year. The conference features seven member institutions (Agnes Scott College, Asbury University, Belhaven University, Covenant College, Huntingdon College, LaGrange College, and Piedmont University) and sponsors championships across 16 sports. In addition to sharing the member institutions' geographic identity, the name 'Collegiate Conference of the South' is indicative of a shared commitment to academic excellence, which is commensurate with the NCAA Division III philosophy.
