ATLANTA, Ga. (September 15, 2026) – Molly Fitzpatrick (Piedmont) was named Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, while Peyton Steiniger (Asbury) earned Defensive Player of the Week, released by the league office on Tuesday.
 
Oli Conrad (Covenant) was also tabbed Rookie of the Week.
 
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Molly Fitzpatrick, Piedmont
Midfielder  |  Senior  |  Macon, Ga.
 
Fitzpatrick helped lead Piedmont to a 2-0 week with victories over N.C. Wesleyan and Meredith, scoring twice for four points. Both goals came from the penalty spot, including one game-winner, as she finished the week with four shots and placed two on frame.
 
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Peyton Steiniger, Asbury
Goalkeeper  |  Junior  |  Middletown, Ohio.
 
Steiniger started both matches in goal for Asbury and helped the Eagles earn a scoreless draw against Spalding for her first clean sheet of the season. She followed with four saves against Ohio Wesleyan, allowing just one goal in a 1-0 setback after facing 18 shots.
 
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK – Oli Conrad, Covenant
Forward  |  Freshman  |  Lookout Mountain, Ga.
 
Conrad made the most of her 42 minutes on the field in Covenant’s win over Berea, recording a goal and an assist for three points. She finished the match with six shots, including three on goal, to contribute to the Scots’ attack.

ABOUT THE COLLEGIATE CONFERENCE OF THE SOUTH
The CCS is an NCAA Division III athletic conference that began play during the 2022-23 academic year. The conference features seven member institutions (Agnes Scott College, Asbury University, Belhaven University, Covenant College, Huntingdon College, LaGrange College, and Piedmont University) and sponsors championships across 16 sports. In addition to sharing the member institutions' geographic identity, the name 'Collegiate Conference of the South' is indicative of a shared commitment to academic excellence, which is commensurate with the NCAA Division III philosophy.
