LAGRANGE, Ga. – The LaGrange College women's soccer team won 1-0 over visiting Agnes Scott College in Collegiate Conference of the South action on Saturday at Panther Field in LaGrange, Georgia.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Scotties frustrated LC in the opening half, forcing a scoreless stalemate as the two teams entered the dressing rooms at the half.
• LaGrange continued to turn up the heat in the second half, creating chance after chance. Eventually the game-winner would come in the 74^th minute as freshman forward Hennessy Reyes (Rome, Ga.) cashed in amidst a net-front scramble to put her squad up 1-nil with 15 minutes left in the contest. The Panthers would hold on for their second win of the season, their first home win in conference play.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS

• LaGrange senior goalkeeper Anna Wright (Sharpsburg, Ga.) picked up the win in net for LC, tallying three timely saves for the clean sheet.
• Junior forward Tatianna McCoy (McDonough, Ga.) and senior midfielder Madeline Kluth (Marietta, Ga.) led the Panthers with four and five shots on goal, respectively.
