Panthers Earn CCS Regular Season Title

ATLANTA - LaGrange College has earned the top seed for the upcoming 2022 Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) Men's Soccer Championship. The Panthers recently completed an undefeated season in CCS league play (4-0-2) this fall, and earning the No. 1 seed in the process. 

For the complete seedings and schedule of the 2022 CCS Men's Soccer Championship, please see below. The Championship match is scheduled to take place on Saturday, November 5th and will be hosted by the highest remaining seed. 

By virtue of earning the top seed, LaGrange has earned a bye in the First Round of the upcoming conference championship, and will host each round in which they are competing throughout the championship. The Panthers will begin their postseason run in the Semifinal Round, which will take place on Saturday, October 29. 

The Panthers registered14 points giving them the top seed. They were followed by Covenant and Maryville, who each earned 13 points a piece.Covenant has earned the No. 2 seed by virtue of their win over Maryville during the regular season.
