LIGONIER, Penn.- Entering today's third and final round of the Tartan Invitational as the third-placed team, #6 Huntingdon Men's Golf is leaving the Laurel Valley Golf Course as 2025 Tartan Invitational Tournament Champions.
Led by Cole Humphrey's second place finish, the Hawks closed out the tournament with a third round score of 295, seven strokes over par. Humphrey opened the day in the 7th placed individual, but climbed five spots following a one-under par 71 third round. Stephen Baker also climbed five spots to finish 7th with Mat Gover finishing just outside the top-10 in the 12th place spot. With their victory today, the Hawks knocked off 10 Top-25 opponents(Bushnell/Golfweek Division III Coaches Poll), including #1 Emory, #2 Methodist, #3 Oglethorpe, #4 Carnegie Mellon, #8 Washington and Lee, and #10 Kenyon.
