ATLANTA, Ga. (December 1, 2025) – The Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) has announced its Men’s Basketball Players of the Week.
Chase Morgan (Maryville) was named
Player of the Week, while
Jordan Lewis (Asbury) earned
Rookie of the Week, released by the league office on Monday.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Chase Morgan, Maryville

Maryville senior forward Chase Morgan delivered a standout outing against Hanover, leading the Scots with 26 points while adding seven rebounds, two assists, two blocks, and a steal. Morgan showcased impressive efficiency throughout the game, shooting 65percent from the field, 67 percent from three, and a perfect 100 percent at the free-throw line.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK– Jordan Lewis, Asbury

Asbury newcomer Jordan Lewis continued his strong start with a well-rounded week, averaging 14 points, two rebounds, and two assists per game. Lewis opened with 15 points, five assists, three rebounds, and two steals against Aurora, followed by a 13-point performance with three assists and two steals versus Earlham. He enters the week among the league's top ranked players in steals (18) and assists (25).

ABOUT THE COLLEGIATE CONFERENCE OF THE SOUTH (CCS)
The CCS is an NCAA Division III athletic conference that began play during the 2022-23 academic year. The conference features nine member institutions (Agnes Scott College, Asbury University, Belhaven University, Covenant College, Huntingdon College, LaGrange College, Maryville College, Piedmont University, and Wesleyan College) and sponsors championships across 14 sports. In addition to sharing the member institutions' geographic identity, the name 'Collegiate Conference of the South' is indicative of a shared commitment to academic excellence, which is commensurate with the NCAA Division III philosophy.
