Asbury outscored LaGrange 39-33 in the first half and 42-40 in the second half. The Eagles led the entire game, taking a lead as large as 15 with 1:27 to go up 78-63.

AU made 28 field goals to shoot 48% from the field, their fourth highest percentage this season. The two best shooting games of the year for AU are both in the recent three-game conference winning streak.

The Asbury defense held LaGrange to 34% shooting from the field, but the Panthers committed only three turnovers. AU committed nine turnovers but dished 16 assists.

AU edged the rebounding battle 34-32 over LaGrange, also taking the second chance point nod 14-11. The Eagles scored 36 points in the paint, 10 more than the 26 from LaGrange.
