2024 CCS Baseball Championship Recap
Maryville secured the 2024 CCS Baseball Championship with a 9-3 win over LaGrange, bouncing back from a Game 1 loss to capture the program’s first 30-win season. Tournament MVP Zac Graham led a balanced offensive attack, while Daniel Montana sparked the title-clinching victory with a solo home run during a pivotal five-run inning—his second homer of the day. Grady Cash delivered a career-best five-inning start, and Austin Suttle earned the save with a strong relief outing. The Scots, who tallied 25 hits across both games, capped off their historic season by pairing the tournament crown with their regular-season championship.
