NCAA DIVISION III SOFTBALL REGIONAL SELECTION SHOWNCAA DIVISION III SOFTBALL REGIONAL INFORMATION

ATLANTA, Ga. (May 12, 2025) – For the second consecutive year, the Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) will send multiple teams to the NCAA Division III Softball Championship—and once again, regional play will take place on a CCS campus.

CCS champion Belhaven (31-7, 14-2 CCS) and conference runner-up Huntingdon (36-5, 15-1 CCS) were both selected to compete in the 2025 NCAA Tournament, as announced during the NCAA.com Selection Show on May 12. The national bracket features 64 teams divided into 16 regional pods, each a four-team, double-elimination format. The road to the national championship wraps up at Inspiration Field in Bloomington, Illinois, on June 4.

Huntingdon earned hosting duties for one of this year’s regionals and will welcome Berry, Transylvania, and Emory to Lucinda Samford Cannon Field in Montgomery, Ala. The Hawks open play against Berry on Thursday, May 15 at 11 a.m., followed by Game 2 between Transylvania and Emory at 1:30 p.m.

Meanwhile, Belhaven is headed west for a familiar postseason setting. The Blazers will travel to East Texas Baptist University, where they reached last year’s NCAA Division III Softball World Series. This time, they’ll begin their regional run against St. Thomas (TX) at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 15.
