Belhaven's Haynes Shines as Piedmont and Maryville Also Garner Top Awards in 2025 CCS Women's Track & Field Honors

ATLANTA, Ga. (May 2, 2025) - Belhaven's Kimona Haynes delivered a championship performance to remember at the 2025 Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) Women’s Track and Field Championship, claiming three major honors: Track Athlete of the Meet, Overall Athlete of the Meet, and Athlete of the Year. Piedmont’s Allie Feltus showcased her dominance in the throws en route to earning Field Athlete of the Meet recognition.

Maryville’s Abbey Cox impressed in her debut season, taking home Women’s Rookie of the Year honors after three podium finishes at the championship meet. Piedmont’s Jamie Jimison was voted Coach of the Year after guiding the Lions to their second team title in three seasons.

The superlative awards were determined through a vote by the conference's head coaches, with team selections and meet awards based on the standout performances at this year's CCS Track & Field Championship meet.
