ATLANTA, GA. (October 16, 2026) - Meet Lindsay Moore — a driven Agnes Scott College graduate.
For Lindsay Moore ’25, former Agnes Scott College women’s basketball student-athlete, life after collegiate competition has opened new opportunities to grow within the sport she loves.
Now pursuing graduate studies in sports management, Moore serves as a graduate assistant for her alma mater’s basketball team and coaches an AAU travel basketball team, continuing to make an impact through the game.
Her transition was made easier after an injury during her senior year shifted her mindset away from playing and toward exploring new opportunities in basketball.
Moore credits her student-athlete experience with teaching her valuable skills, including time management, teamwork, and the importance of listening to and learning from others. These lessons continue to guide her as she balances graduate school, coaching, and professional development.
She also prioritizes staying connected with former teammates and coaches, recognizing the value of their advice and mentorship as she navigates her next chapter.
Moore encourages current student-athletes to recognize the value of their experiences and apply those lessons to whatever comes next.
“Be somewhere you are wanted and take advantage of the skills you learned on your team and use them on whatever career path you choose,” Moore shared.
She also emphasizes maintaining relationships with teammates and coaches, who can continue to offer guidance long after graduation.
Through the CCS Life After Sports series, Moore’s journey is a reminder that the end of a playing career does not mean the end of an athlete’s impact. Sometimes, the next chapter simply offers a new way to stay in the game.
The final whistle wasn’t the end for her — it was just the beginning of what was to come next.
