Week 4: CCS Men’s Golfers of the Week

ATLANTA, Ga. (October 7, 2026) - Drew Silman (Covenant) was named the Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) Golfer of the Week, while Parker Church (Belhaven) earned this week’s Men’s Golf Rookie of the Week, released by the league office on Wednesday.
 
GOLFER OF THE WEEK – Drew Silman, Covenant

Silman posted a top 15 finish at the West Pines Collegiate, tying for 15th among 128 golfers with an even-par 213. He opened the tournament with back-to-back under-par rounds of 69 and 70 before closing with a 74 on the par-71 course.
 
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK – Parker Church, Belhaven
Freshman  |  Covington, La.
 
Church turned in a solid showing at the West Pines Collegiate, tying for 34th overall in a field of 128 golfers with a 5-over-par 218. He highlighted the tournament with a 2-under 69 in the second round and added rounds of 75 and 74 to complete the three-round event.

ABOUT THE COLLEGIATE CONFERENCE OF THE SOUTH
The CCS is an NCAA Division III athletic conference that began play during the 2022-23 academic year. The conference features seven member institutions (Agnes Scott College, Asbury University, Belhaven University, Covenant College, Huntingdon College, LaGrange College, and Piedmont University) and sponsors championships across 16 sports. In addition to sharing the member institutions' geographic identity, the name 'Collegiate Conference of the South' is indicative of a shared commitment to academic excellence, which is commensurate with the NCAA Division III philosophy.
