ATLANTA, Ga. (February 9, 2026) – The Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) has announced its baseball weekly honors, released by the league office on Monday.
Andrew Billington (Asbury) was named
Player of the Week, while
Jable Ramey (Huntingdon) earned
Pitcher of the Week honors.
Collin McGhee (LaGrange) was also tabbed
Rookie of the Week.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Andrew Billington, Asbury
Centerfield | Senior | Brentwood, Tenn.
Andrew Billington played a key role in Asbury’s strong opening weekend, helping lead the Eagles to a 3–0 record and a series sweep of the University of Dallas. Over the weekend, Billington went 6-for-10 at the plate, posting a .600 batting average while scoring seven runs and driving in three more. He also added a home run, two stolen bases, and two walks.
PITCHER OF THE WEEK – Jable Ramey, Huntingdon

Jable Ramey delivered a dominant outing on the mound to lead Huntingdon to a 12–0 victory over Berea on Saturday night. The junior left-hander worked five scoreless innings, allowing just two hits while issuing no walks. Ramey struck out nine batters in the appearance, securing his first win of the season.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK – Collin McGhee, LaGrange
Second Base | Freshman | Ball Ground, Ga.
Freshman infielder Collin McGhee made an immediate impact in his first week of collegiate action, helping LaGrange post a 3–0 record at the Firehouse Classic. McGhee hit .571 on the weekend, collecting seven hits while driving in six runs. He also showcased his speed on the basepaths, swiping four stolen bases as the Panthers picked up wins over Schreiner and Berea.

ABOUT THE COLLEGIATE CONFERENCE OF THE SOUTH (CCS)
The CCS is an NCAA Division III athletic conference that began play during the 2022-23 academic year. The conference features nine member institutions (Agnes Scott College, Asbury University, Belhaven University, Covenant College, Huntingdon College, LaGrange College, Maryville College, Piedmont University, and Wesleyan College) and sponsors championships across 14 sports. In addition to sharing the member institutions' geographic identity, the name 'Collegiate Conference of the South' is indicative of a shared commitment to academic excellence, which is commensurate with the NCAA Division III philosophy.
