Player of the Year | Det Dettwiller, Maryville
Det Dettwiller put together one of the most complete offensive seasons in the conference, earning CCS Player of the Year honors after ranking among the league leaders in multiple categories. Dettwiller finished the season with a .404 batting average and a 1.106 OPS, both among the top five marks in the CCS. He recorded 59 hits — fourth most in the conference — while his 80 total bases ranked top five overall. He also led the league in slugging percentage (.620) and ranked among the top five in home runs with six. Across 38 games, Dettwiller added 38 runs scored, 38 RBI, and 10 stolen bases.
Pitcher of the Year | Andrew Misirly, Piedmont
Andrew Misirly anchored Piedmont’s pitching staff with a steady and reliable presence on the mound, earning CCS Pitcher of the Year honors. The right-hander logged 63.2 innings pitched — tied for fifth-most in the conference — while posting a 3.11 ERA, the second-lowest mark in the CCS among qualified pitchers. He also recorded 43 strikeouts across 11 appearances, leading his team in both strikeouts and ERA with at least 30 innings pitched. Misirly’s consistency was recognized throughout the season, as he earned three consecutive CCS Pitcher of the Week honors.
Rookie Player of the Year | Masin Hall, Maryville
Masin Hall emerged as one of the conference’s top newcomers, earning Rookie Player of the Year honors after delivering a strong all-around season both offensively and defensively. Hall recorded 55 hits — ranking seventh in the CCS — while posting a .346 batting average and a .967 OPS. His 47 runs scored ranked fourth in the conference, while his 12 doubles were tied for third in the CCS. He additionally drew 24 walks, the fifth-highest total in the conference. Defensively, Hall was a steady presence at second base, totaling 85 assists — fifth in the CCS — while contributing to 16 double plays and maintaining a .946 fielding percentage.
Rookie Pitcher of the Year | MD Johnson, Huntingdon
MD Johnson made an immediate impact in his freshman season, earning Rookie Pitcher of the Year honors after emerging as a key arm for Huntingdon. Johnson posted a 6-1 record across 14 appearances, including eight starts, while logging 61.1 innings pitched — ranking fifth in the CCS. He led the conference in both strikeouts (67) and wins, while also recording a complete game.
Coach of the Year | Justin Scali, Piedmont
Head Coach Justin Scali guided Piedmont to a share of the CCS regular-season title, earning Coach of the Year honors after leading the Lions to a 28-11 overall record and a 12-6 mark in conference play. Piedmont’s success stemmed from a balanced and explosive offense, as the Lions led the CCS in all three major slash line categories: batting average, on-base percentage, and slugging percentage. The team also secured a key series sweep over nationally ranked Belhaven.
Maryville led all institutions with eight all-conference selections across the first and second teams, followed closely by Piedmont with six selections. Both Belhaven and LaGrange placed five student-athletes on the all-conference teams, while Huntingdon recorded four selections. Asbury rounded out the list with two honorees.
The 2026 CCS Baseball Championship is currently underway, with teams competing for the conference title and an automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Tournament. Fans can follow the action throughout the week live and free on the CCS Network (
