ATLANTA, Ga. (September 22, 2026) – Anna Sparks (Asbury) was named Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, while Olivia Rosario (Agnes Scott) earned Defensive Player of the Week, released by the league office on Tuesday.
 
AT Simon (Covenant) was also tabbed Rookie of the Week.
 
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Anna Sparks, Asbury

Sparks powered Asbury to a 2-0 week with five goals across two victories. She recorded her first career hat trick in a 3-2 CCS win over Huntingdon before scoring twice in the second half of a 2-1 victory over Transylvania. With six goals on the season, Sparks leads the CCS in both total goals and goals per game at 1.00.
 
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Olivia Rosario, Agnes Scott

Rosario totaled 18 saves across 180 minutes in goal for Agnes Scott over the weekend. She recorded a season-high 14 saves in a 1-1 draw against Sweet Briar, including a pair of one-on-one stops that helped preserve the result, before adding four saves against Regent. Rosario is averaging 11.8 saves per match this season, ranking among the top 10 nationally in Division III in saves per game.
 
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK – AT Simon, Covenant

Simon contributed on both ends of Covenant’s unbeaten week, playing all 180 minutes as the Scots earned draws against Maryville and Piedmont. Simon recorded a goal and an assist for three points, including a second-half goal against Piedmont that secured the draw. Simon also finished the week with six shots, including two on goal.

ABOUT THE COLLEGIATE CONFERENCE OF THE SOUTH
The CCS is an NCAA Division III athletic conference that began play during the 2022-23 academic year. The conference features seven member institutions (Agnes Scott College, Asbury University, Belhaven University, Covenant College, Huntingdon College, LaGrange College, and Piedmont University) and sponsors championships across 16 sports. In addition to sharing the member institutions' geographic identity, the name 'Collegiate Conference of the South' is indicative of a shared commitment to academic excellence, which is commensurate with the NCAA Division III philosophy.
