DECATUR, Ga. - 8th-seeded Agens Scott punched their ticket to Saturday's Collegiate Conference of the South Women's Soccer Championship Quarterfinal Round with a 1-0 win over 9th-seeded Wesleyan during the First Round of this year's championship. 

Agnes Scott's Iris Ray converted on a penalty kick midway through the first half, and the Scotties defense made that goal stand up to advance to Saturday's CCS Quarterfinals, where they'll head to take on top-seeded Piedmont. It was Ray's second goal of the season. 

Ashley Kopczyk made four saves in goal for Agnes Scott to preserved a clean sheet, while Wesleyan's Angel Lockett was valiant in defeat as she registered 11 saves, and only allowed the penalty kick tally.
