DECATUR, Ga. - 8th-seeded Agens Scott punched their ticket to Saturday's Collegiate Conference of the South Women's Soccer Championship Quarterfinal Round with a 1-0 win over 9th-seeded Wesleyan during the First Round of this year's championship.

Iris Ray converted on a penalty kick midway through the first half, and the Scotties defense made that goal stand up to advance to Saturday's CCS Quarterfinals, where they'll head to take on top-seeded Piedmont. It was Ray's second goal of the season.
Ashley Kopczyk made four saves in goal for Agnes Scott to preserved a clean sheet, while Wesleyan's Angel Lockett was valiant in defeat as she registered 11 saves, and only allowed the penalty kick tally.

The CCS is an NCAA Division III athletic conference that began play during the 2022-23 academic year. The conference features nine members and sponsors championships across 14 sports.
