Adam Rogers (Piedmont) was named the Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS)
Co-Golfers of the Week, while
Elliot Mehler (Piedmont)earned this week’s Men’s Golf
Rookie of the Week, released by the league office on Wednesday.
CO-GOLFER OF THE WEEK – Ian Bramlett, LaGrange
Sophomore | Bethlehem, GA
Sophomore Ian Bramlett delivered a stellar performance at the Transylvania Fall Invitational, finishing in second place out of 96 competitors. Bramlett carded a 5-under-par across 36 holes at the University of Kentucky’s Big Blue Course.
CO-GOLFER OF THE WEEK – Adam Rogers, Piedmont
Junior | Vero Beach, FL
Piedmont’s Adam Rogers had an exceptional week, competing in two tournaments. He finished 38th out of 96 golfers at the Transylvania Fall Invitational with scores of 75 and 74 (+5) but followed it up with a career-best solo second-place finish at the Greystone Fall Invitational. Rogers shot back-to-back under-par rounds of 68 and 71 to finish 5-under for the tournament, leading Piedmont to a team victory.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK – Elliot Mehler, Piedmont
Freshman | Fleming Island, FL
Freshman Elliot Mehler made an immediate impact at the Greystone Fall Invitational, shooting rounds of 74 and 73 (+3) to tie for 24th out of 79 competitors. His steady play contributed to Piedmont’s team title.

ABOUT THE COLLEGIATE CONFERENCE OF THE SOUTH (CCS)
The CCS is an NCAA Division III athletic conference that began play during the 2022-23 academic year. The conference features nine member institutions (Agnes Scott College, Asbury University, Belhaven University, Covenant College, Huntingdon College, LaGrange College, Maryville College, Piedmont University, and Wesleyan College) and sponsors championships across 14 sports. In addition to sharing the member institutions' geographic identity, the name 'Collegiate Conference of the South' is indicative of a shared commitment to academic excellence, which is commensurate with the NCAA Division III philosophy.
