Seven CCS Softball Standouts Earn NFCA All-Region VI Honors

NFCA All-Region Release

ATLANTA, Ga. (May 16, 2025) – Seven student-athletes from the Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) have been named to the 2025 National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-Region VI Teams, representing three different programs following outstanding performances throughout the spring season.

Huntingdon College led the way with four selections, highlighted by First Team catcher Miranda Treadway, who posted a dominant .469 batting average, .500 on-base percentage, and .848 slugging percentage. She was joined by Second Team honorees Allie Roberts (P), Maddie Grace Hubbard (3B), and Jordan Holman (SS) — all of whom also earned First Team All-CCS honors. Roberts delivered a remarkable season in the circle with a 21-1 record and 1.56 ERA across 21 starts, striking out 118 batters in 121.1 innings. Hubbard was an offensive catalyst for the Hawks, finishing with a .479 average, .560 OBP, and .592 SLG, while Holman powered the lineup with a .401 average and a .789 SLG. The Hawks capped their season with a 38-7 record, hosted the NCAA regional for a second straight year, and recorded regional victories over Berry and Emory.

Belhaven University was represented by two standouts, with Ellie Jones earning First Team All-Region honors after a historic senior campaign. The Mississippi native led the conference in OPS (1.510), slugging percentage (.939), and home runs (13), while her .519 batting average and .571 OBP ranked second in the league. Nationally, Jones ranks inside the top 20 in five major offensive categories. She also finished top five in the CCS in hits (68), RBIs (50), doubles (14), and walks (20), starting all 41 games for the Blazers. Freshman Reagan Bryan was named to the Third Team All-Region after hitting .363 with eight doubles and a .948 OPS, while patrolling center field with defensive excellence. Belhaven finished the year 32-9, earning their fifth straight NCAA Tournament berth and securing the 2025 CCS Tournament title.

Maryville College’s Brecca Williams rounded out the CCS honorees with a First Team All-Region nod at shortstop following a sensational senior season. Williams led the CCS in on-base percentage (.632) and finished second in the nation heading into regional play with a .559 batting average and 76 total hits. She added 46 runs scored, 20 walks, and 17 stolen bases while striking out just seven times all year. Her final season marked career highs in nearly every offensive category, making her one of the most complete hitters in all of Division III softball.
