Burr Named All-American, Hawks Take 6th At NCAA Championship

PENFIELD, New York- With the final nine holes bringing the 2025 NCAA Division III Men's Golf Championship to a close, Huntingdon Men's Golf has finished inside the top ten in the nation for consecutive seasons, taking 6th place overall in the 43-team field. 

In the final round, the Hawks compiled an overall team score of 296, eight strokes over par for Huntingdon's best round in the tournament. Methodist University of the USA South Athletic Conference walked away from the tournament as champions, bringing things to a close with a six under-par fourth round as they secured their victory. 

Leading the Hawks and finishing inside the top ten individuals was junior Jack Burr of Milton, Georgia. Burr saved his best round for last, shooting two strokes under par in round four to finish as the 8th placed individual. 

In addition to placing inside of the top 10, Burr was also named a 2025 Division III PING First Team All-American, in recognition of his exemplary performances all season. The full list of First Team All-Americans is as follows:

Round Four Scores

Today's round has brought the Hawks 2025 campaign to a close. This season, the Hawks saw two all-region selections, one all-american, finished as the Collegiate Conference of the South runner-up, and took 6th place in the nation. Stay tuned for news to come of their upcoming 2025-2026 season.
