LEXINGTON, Ky. --- Asbury's men's (8-5, 4-0 CCS) and women's tennis (8-5, 5-0 CCS) teams remained unbeaten in Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) play Saturday with 4-0 sweeps of Belhaven, improving to 4-0 and 5-0 in conference action, respectively.

The Eagles set the tone early by claiming all three doubles matches convincingly.
The duo of Ignacio Ardiles and Franco Patiño rolled to a 6-1 win at No. 1, while Ben Moore and Andres Caceres secured a 6-0 victory at No. 2. Alejo Britos and Paolo Cargnelutti completed the sweep with another 6-0 result at No. 3, giving Asbury a 1-0 lead heading into singles.
In singles play, Asbury continued its control. Moore battled to a straight-sets win at No. 1 (7-5, 6-3), and Patino followed with a 6-4, 6-0 victory at No. 2. Ardiles fought at the No. 3 with a 6-0, 6-0 result to clinch the match for the Eagles.
The remaining singles matches were cut short due to match completion, with Britos, Caceres, and Cargnelutti all leading or in progress before play was halted.

The Eagles opened with strong doubles play, as Alexandra Garcia and Ariadna Zegarra led a 6-0 win at No. 1, while Isabella Sanchez and Cara Clark followed with a 6-2 victory at No. 2. Asbury also picked up a win at No. 3 by default, giving them the early advantage.
In singles, Asbury closed out the match with a pair of decisive performances. Katherine Nova delivered a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 1, and Garcia added another straight-sets victory at No. 2 (6-0, 6-0) to clinch the match. Other singles matches went unfinished or were decided by default once the team result was secured.

Both teams are back in action on Saturday, April 11th at 10 AM taking on Piedmont at Spindletop Tennis Club.
