Week 2: CCS Men’s Cross Country Runners of the Week

ATLANTA, Ga. (September 14, 2026) – Grayson Lines (Covenant) was named Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week, while Ken Foos (Covenant) earned Rookie of the Week, released by the league office on Monday.
 
RUNNER OF THE WEEK – Grayson Lines, Covenant
Sophomore  |  North Augusta, S.C.
 
Lines led Covenant at the Saturday Night Lights meet, finishing as the Scots’ top runner with a time of 29:43.8. He placed 14th overall in the field of 58 runners.
 
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK – Ken Foos, Covenant
Freshman  |  Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
 
Foos turned in a strong performance at the Saturday Night Lights meet, completing the 8K in 30:16.6. He placed 17th overall among 58 runners in the field.

ABOUT THE COLLEGIATE CONFERENCE OF THE SOUTH
The CCS is an NCAA Division III athletic conference that began play during the 2022-23 academic year. The conference features seven member institutions (Agnes Scott College, Asbury University, Belhaven University, Covenant College, Huntingdon College, LaGrange College, and Piedmont University) and sponsors championships across 16 sports. In addition to sharing the member institutions' geographic identity, the name 'Collegiate Conference of the South' is indicative of a shared commitment to academic excellence, which is commensurate with the NCAA Division III philosophy.
