ATLANTA, Ga. (September 29, 2026) – Lila Wiley (Covenant) was named Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, while Addi Roberts (Belhaven) earned Defensive Player of the Week, released by the league office on Tuesday.
 
Hayden Kessler (Belhaven) was also tabbed Rookie of the Week.
 
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Lila Wiley, Covenant
Forward  |  Senior  |  Fayetteville, Ga.
 
Wiley powered Covenant’s attack in a 4-1 win over Huntingdon, scoring twice and adding an assist for five points. She finished the match with six shots, placing four on goal, while logging 51 minutes of action.
 
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Addi Roberts, Belhaven
Goalkeeper  |  Senior  |  Florence, Miss.
 
Roberts delivered a clean-sheet performance in Belhaven’s win over Piedmont, recording nine saves across the full 90 minutes. Her work in goal helped preserve the shutout and secure the conference victory.
 
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK – Hayden Kessler, Belhaven
Centerback  |  Freshman  |  Spanish Fort, Ala.
 
Kessler helped anchor Belhaven’s back line during a pair of shutout victories, logging 141 minutes in defense without the Blazers conceding a goal. She also contributed offensively with an assist in Belhaven’s win over Agnes Scott.

ABOUT THE COLLEGIATE CONFERENCE OF THE SOUTH
The CCS is an NCAA Division III athletic conference that began play during the 2022-23 academic year. The conference features seven member institutions (Agnes Scott College, Asbury University, Belhaven University, Covenant College, Huntingdon College, LaGrange College, and Piedmont University) and sponsors championships across 16 sports. In addition to sharing the member institutions' geographic identity, the name 'Collegiate Conference of the South' is indicative of a shared commitment to academic excellence, which is commensurate with the NCAA Division III philosophy.
