ATLANTA, Ga. (July 5, 2024) – A record high, 790 student-athletes, have been named to the 2023-2024 Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) Academic All-Conference Team for maintaining at least a 3.30 grade point average (GPA) or better throughout the 2023-24 academic year.
Student-athletes with a 3.9 GPA or higher were considered for the President’s Honor Roll. Among them, 196 student-athletes, marked with an asterisk (*), earned placement on the Presidents’ Honor Roll by achieving a GPA of at least 3.90 or better in each semester.
“These student-athletes exemplify what it means to be a student first, excelling both in the classroom and on the field,” said CCS Commissioner Beth Vansant. “Their dedication to academic excellence and athletic prowess sets a high standard, and we are honored to celebrate their achievements. Congratulations to all the honorees for their hard work and commitment!"
This was the second season that the CCS has honored the academic achievements of student-athletes from nine NCAA Division III member institutions across Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, and Tennessee.
