ATLANTA, Ga. (September 24, 2024) – Robel Teshome (LaGrange) was named Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) Men’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, while Eli Honeycutt (Covenant) earned Defensive Player of the Week, released by the league office on Tuesday.
 
Jaden Jenkins (Huntingdon) was also tabbed Rookie of the Week.
 

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Robel Teshome, LaGrange

Robel Teshome showcased his scoring ability this week, netting two goals in two games for LaGrange. His consistent offensive presence helped propel the Panthers' attack and was key to their competitive performances against Berry and William Peace.
 
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Eli Honeycutt, Covenant

Eli Honeycutt was a brick wall in goal for Covenant, keeping two clean sheets in back-to-back 1-0 victories against Berry and Emory. Honeycutt made 12 saves across both games, including a career-high seven saves in the win over Emory.
 
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK – Jaden Jenkins, Huntingdon

Freshman Jaden Jenkins made an immediate impact for Huntingdon, scoring his first career goal in a 4-2 victory over Tougaloo.
