Runner of the Week, while
Lucie Demers (Covenant) earned
Rookie of the Week, released by the league office on Monday.
RUNNER OF THE WEEK – Emerson Tillery, Covenant
Junior | Leeds, Ala.
Covenant junior Emerson Tillery paced the Scots with a sixth-place finish at the UNG Invitational, covering the 5K course in 19:07.6. Tillery has been Covenant’s top finisher in both meets this season, helping the Scots place third in a competitive field of 16 teams.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK – Lucie Demers, Covenant
Freshman | Rogers, Ark.
Covenant freshman Lucie Demers continued her strong start to collegiate competition with an eighth-place finish at the UNG Invitational. Demers crossed the line in 19:22.0, finishing among the team’s leaders as the Scots earned third place out of 16 schools.

ABOUT THE COLLEGIATE CONFERENCE OF THE SOUTH (CCS)
The CCS is an NCAA Division III athletic conference that began play during the 2022-23 academic year. The conference features nine member institutions (Agnes Scott College, Asbury University, Belhaven University, Covenant College, Huntingdon College, LaGrange College, Maryville College, Piedmont University, and Wesleyan College) and sponsors championships across 14 sports. In addition to sharing the member institutions' geographic identity, the name 'Collegiate Conference of the South' is indicative of a shared commitment to academic excellence, which is commensurate with the NCAA Division III philosophy.
