Player of the Week, while teammate,
Katelyn Eldred (Maryville) earned
Defensive Player of the Week, released by the league office on Monday.
Feliz Pearson (Agnes Scott) was also tabbed
Rookie of the Week.

Reese Bailey powered Maryville to a 2-1 record this past week, showcasing her dominance on both offense and defense. Bailey racked up 33 kills with an impressive .459 hitting percentage, adding 10 digs, 10 blocks, and five service aces. Averaging 3.00 kills per set, her standout performance came in a thrilling 3-2 win over Oglethorpe, where she contributed 16 kills, six blocks, four digs, and three aces.

Freshman Katelyn Eldred anchored Maryville's defense in their 2-1 week, leading the Scots with 38 digs while adding nine assists and five service aces. Averaging 3.45 digs per set, Eldred was crucial in the Scots’ sweep of Sewanee, contributing four aces, including two pivotal ones in the first set.

Feliz Pearson had a breakout weekend for Agnes Scott, registering her strongest performances of the season in a tri-match. In a win over Trinity (Fla.), Pearson led all players with a season-high 19 kills, hitting at an impressive .459 clip, while adding three service aces and two solo blocks. She continued her momentum in a four-set battle against Paine, tallying 13 kills and four aces with no service errors.

ABOUT THE COLLEGIATE CONFERENCE OF THE SOUTH (CCS)
The CCS is an NCAA Division III athletic conference that began play during the 2022-23 academic year. The conference features nine member institutions (Agnes Scott College, Asbury University, Belhaven University, Covenant College, Huntingdon College, LaGrange College, Maryville College, Piedmont University, and Wesleyan College) and sponsors championships across 14 sports. In addition to sharing the member institutions' geographic identity, the name 'Collegiate Conference of the South' is indicative of a shared commitment to academic excellence, which is commensurate with the NCAA Division III philosophy.
