ATLANTA, Ga. (October 7, 2025) –
Fox Landgren (Covenant) was named Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) Men’s Soccer
Offensive Player of the Week, while
Ciaran Colvin (Belhaven) earned
Defensive Player of the Week, released by the league office on Tuesday.
Sam Conrad (Covenant) was also tabbed
Rookie of the Week.
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Fox Landgren, Covenant
Defender | Senior | Homewood, Ala.
Covenant senior defender Fox Landgren made a major impact on both ends of the pitch, scoring three goals and adding an assist in a 2-0 week for the Scots. Landgren scored both goals in a 2-0 win over Piedmont before finding the back of the net again in a 4-0 victory over LaGrange, helping Covenant open conference play unbeaten.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Ciaran Colvin, Belhaven
Center Back | Sophomore | New Port Richey, Fla.
Belhaven sophomore center back Ciaran Colvin anchored the Blazers’ defense during a strong 2-1 week that included two CCS victories. Colvin helped Belhaven post a shutout against Huntingdon and contributed on the offensive end with a goal in a 4-1 win over Maryville.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK – Sam Conrad, Covenant

Covenant freshman forward Sam Conrad recorded the first goal of his collegiate career in the Scots’ 4-0 win over LaGrange. Conrad started both matches as Covenant opened CCS play with consecutive victories.

ABOUT THE COLLEGIATE CONFERENCE OF THE SOUTH (CCS)
The CCS is an NCAA Division III athletic conference that began play during the 2022-23 academic year. The conference features nine member institutions (Agnes Scott College, Asbury University, Belhaven University, Covenant College, Huntingdon College, LaGrange College, Maryville College, Piedmont University, and Wesleyan College) and sponsors championships across 14 sports. In addition to sharing the member institutions' geographic identity, the name 'Collegiate Conference of the South' is indicative of a shared commitment to academic excellence, which is commensurate with the NCAA Division III philosophy.
