ATLANTA, Ga. (December 15, 2025) – The Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) has announced its Women’s Basketball Players of the Week.
Emily Sizemore (Asbury) was named
Player of the Week, while
Kylie Watkins (Piedmont) earned
Rookie of the Week, released by the league office on Monday.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Emily Sizemore, Asbury

Asbury junior guard Emily Sizemore turned in a remarkable week, highlighted by a career-high 35-point performance to lead the Eagles to a win over Piedmont. Sizemore shot 12-of-21 from the field in the victory while adding five steals, three rebounds, and three assists. She enters the week leading the CCS in scoring at 22.6 points per game with 181 total points through eight games and has already recorded three games of 28 or more points this season.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK– Kylie Watkins, Piedmont

Piedmont freshman forward Kylie Watkins continued to contribute across the board during a three-game week for the Lions. Watkins totaled 28 points and 20 rebounds, averaging 6.7 boards per game, while adding 11 assists, nine steals, and three blocks. She also shot 41 percent from the field and a perfect 4-for-4 at the free-throw line, helping Piedmont secure a win over SUNY Potsdam.

ABOUT THE COLLEGIATE CONFERENCE OF THE SOUTH (CCS)
The CCS is an NCAA Division III athletic conference that began play during the 2022-23 academic year. The conference features nine member institutions (Agnes Scott College, Asbury University, Belhaven University, Covenant College, Huntingdon College, LaGrange College, Maryville College, Piedmont University, and Wesleyan College) and sponsors championships across 14 sports. In addition to sharing the member institutions' geographic identity, the name 'Collegiate Conference of the South' is indicative of a shared commitment to academic excellence, which is commensurate with the NCAA Division III philosophy.
