ATLANTA, Ga. (September 30, 2025) –
Gabby Worthy (LaGrange) was named Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) Women’s Soccer
Offensive Player of the Week, while
Addi Roberts (Belhaven) earned
Defensive Player of the Week, released by the league office on Tuesday.
Abigail Turner (Asbury) was also tabbed
Rookie of the Week.
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Gabby Worthy, LaGrange
Forward | Freshman | Bremen, Ga.
LaGrange freshman forward Gabby Worthy broke out in a big way, scoring four goals across two matches to lead the Panthers to a conference win and a draw. Worthy netted twice in a 3-1 victory at Agnes Scott before delivering back-to-back breakaway goals to erase a deficit and secure a 2-2 draw against Covenant.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Addi Roberts, Belhaven
Goalkeeper | Junior | Florence, Miss.
Belhaven junior goalkeeper Addi Roberts posted back-to-back shutouts in conference play, recording seven saves across two matches. Roberts’ steady play in net helped the Blazers secure a pair of clean sheet victories against Huntingdon and Piedmont.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK – Abigail Turner, Asbury

Asbury freshman forward Abigail Turner netted the first two goals of her collegiate career in a 5-0 road win at Wesleyan. Turner’s brace highlighted a strong offensive performance as the Eagles improved to 2-0 in CCS play.

ABOUT THE COLLEGIATE CONFERENCE OF THE SOUTH (CCS)
The CCS is an NCAA Division III athletic conference that began play during the 2022-23 academic year. The conference features nine member institutions (Agnes Scott College, Asbury University, Belhaven University, Covenant College, Huntingdon College, LaGrange College, Maryville College, Piedmont University, and Wesleyan College) and sponsors championships across 14 sports. In addition to sharing the member institutions' geographic identity, the name 'Collegiate Conference of the South' is indicative of a shared commitment to academic excellence, which is commensurate with the NCAA Division III philosophy.
