ATLANTA, Ga. (March 31, 2026) – The Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) has announced its men’s track and field weekly honors, released by the league office on Tuesday.
Ryheem Mighten (LaGrange) was named this week’s
Men’s Track Athlete of the Week, alongside
Cam McElroy (Asbury) who collected this week’s
Men’s Field Athlete of the Week honor.
Adyn Elliot (Maryville) was also tabbed
Men’s Track Rookie of the Week alongside teammate,
Skylan Pleasant (Maryville) who
earned
Men’s Field Rookie of the Week.
TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK – Ryheem Mighten, LaGrange
Freshman | Pleasant Shade, Tenn
Ryheem Mighten delivered a strong all-around sprint performance at the Emory Thrills in the Hills meet, competing across three events. The freshman highlighted his weekend with a first-place finish in the 100m, clocking an 11.02 in a field of 57 competitors. He added a seventh-place finish in the 200m (21.70) and placed sixth in the 400m with a time of 47.90. His 400m mark currently ranks first in the CCS this season.
FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK – Cam McElroy, Asbury
Senior | Hoover, Ala.
Cam McElroy opened his outdoor season with a strong showing at the Landon Bond Classic, placing second in the javelin among 20 competitors. The senior recorded a personal-best throw of 46.12 meters.
TRACK ROOKIE OF THE WEEK – Adyn Elliot, Maryville
Freshman | Pleasant Shade, Tenn
Adyn Elliot turned in a standout performance at the Landon Bond Classic, highlighted by a runner-up finish in the 3,000m steeplechase. The freshman posted a personal-best time of 10:25.62, which currently ranks first in the CCS. Elliot also added a ninth-place finish in the 800m (2:03.86), a mark that ranks second in the conference, and contributed to a school-record performance in the 4x400m relay.
FIELD ROOKIE OF THE WEEK – Skylan Pleasant, Maryville
Freshman | McMinnville, Tenn.
Skylan Pleasant delivered a standout performance in the throwing events at the Landon Bond Classic, earning a first-place finish in the shot put and a runner-up finish in the discus. The freshman recorded a personal-best mark of 14.02 meters in the shot put, which currently ranks first in the CCS, and added a throw of 38.44 meters in the discus to place second in a field of 20 competitors. Pleasant’s discus performance also ranks Top 5 in the CCS.
