ATLANTA, Ga. (October 15, 2024) – Ryan Kim (Asbury) was named Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) Men’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, while Peyton French (Asbury) earned Defensive Player of the Week, released by the league office on Tuesday.
 
Brady Hammer (Maryville) was also tabbed Rookie of the Week.
 

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Ryan Kim, Asbury

Ryan Kim continued his strong offensive form for Asbury, scoring a goal in each of the team’s two matches this week, bringing his season total to four goals. The senior forward’s finishing has been efficient, as he has found the back of the net four times from just seven shots on target.
 
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Peyton French, Asbury

Peyton French was a standout in goal for Asbury, recording two clean sheets in back-to-back CCS wins over Maryville and LaGrange. His strong play between the posts helped improve Asbury’s record to 7-3-2 as the team heads into the final stretch of conference play.
