ATLANTA, Ga. (October 21, 2025) – 
Brady Hammer (Maryville) was named Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) Men’s Soccer 
Offensive Player of the Week, while 
Ciaran Colvin (Belhaven) earned 
Defensive Player of the Week, released by the league office on Tuesday.
 
John-Mark Steele (Belhaven) was also tabbed 
Rookie of the Week.
 
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Brady Hammer, Maryville
Forward  |  Sophomore  |  Knoxville, Tenn.
 
Maryville sophomore forward Brady Hammer played a key role in the Scots’ 3–1 win over Asbury, factoring into all three goals on the night. Hammer scored once and assisted on the other two goals, leading a dynamic offensive effort that helped secure the conference victory.
 
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Ciaran Colvin, Belhaven

Belhaven’s Ciaran Colvin made an impact on both ends of the field, scoring both goals in a 2–0 shutout win over Hardin-Simmons. The sophomore center back also anchored a back line that kept the Cowboys scoreless while logging 87 minutes of action in the clean-sheet victory.
 
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK – John-Mark Steele, Belhaven

Belhaven freshman forward John-Mark Steele made the most of his opportunities in the Blazers’ 15–0 win over Tougaloo, contributing two goals and an assist in the commanding victory.

ABOUT THE COLLEGIATE CONFERENCE OF THE SOUTH (CCS)
The CCS is an NCAA Division III athletic conference that began play during the 2022-23 academic year. The conference features nine member institutions (Agnes Scott College, Asbury University, Belhaven University, Covenant College, Huntingdon College, LaGrange College, Maryville College, Piedmont University, and Wesleyan College) and sponsors championships across 14 sports. In addition to sharing the member institutions' geographic identity, the name 'Collegiate Conference of the South' is indicative of a shared commitment to academic excellence, which is commensurate with the NCAA Division III philosophy.
