Emma Antonoplos (Belhaven) was named Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) Women’s Soccer
Offensive Player of the Week, while
Anna Wright (LaGrange) earned
Defensive Player of the Week, released by the league office on Tuesday.
Alyssa Wilson (Belhaven) was also tabbed
Rookie of the Week.
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Emma Antonoplos, Belhaven
Midfielder | Senior | Jacksonville, Fla.
Belhaven senior midfielder Emma Antonoplos delivered an outstanding offensive performance, scoring four goals in the Blazers’ win over Agnes Scott. With the effort, Antonoplos became the third-highest goal scorer in Belhaven program history, reaching 30 career goals. Her play was a highlight in a 1–1 week for the Blazers.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Anna Wright, LaGrange
Goalkeeper | Junior | Sharpsburg, Ga.
LaGrange junior goalkeeper Anna Wright was a standout in net, recording nine saves in a hard-fought 2–0 loss to Middle Georgia State. Wright’s performance kept the Panthers within striking distance throughout the match.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK – Alyssa Wilson, Belhaven
Full Back | Freshman | Greenwell Springs, La.
Freshman full back Alyssa Wilson made a major impact on both ends of the pitch for Belhaven, scoring a goal and helping secure a clean sheet in the Blazers’ win over Agnes Scott. Her all-around play contributed to a strong 1–1 week for the team.

ABOUT THE COLLEGIATE CONFERENCE OF THE SOUTH (CCS)
The CCS is an NCAA Division III athletic conference that began play during the 2022-23 academic year. The conference features nine member institutions (Agnes Scott College, Asbury University, Belhaven University, Covenant College, Huntingdon College, LaGrange College, Maryville College, Piedmont University, and Wesleyan College) and sponsors championships across 14 sports. In addition to sharing the member institutions' geographic identity, the name 'Collegiate Conference of the South' is indicative of a shared commitment to academic excellence, which is commensurate with the NCAA Division III philosophy.
