ATLANTA, Ga. (November 2, 2026) – Tarryn Woodall (Belhaven) was named Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) Women’s Volleyball Player of the Week, while Henley Gentry (Covenant) earned Defensive Player of the Week, released by the league office on Monday.
 
Julia Wright (Asbury) was selected as Setter of the Week, alongside Lillian Gaskins (Piedmont) who was tabbed Rookie of the Week.
 
PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Tarryn Woodall, Belhaven
Outside Hitter  |  Sophomore  |  Moody, Ala.
 
Woodall led Belhaven with 30 kills during a 1-1 week, highlighted by a 22-kill performance in the Blazers’ 3-1 win over LaGrange. She also contributed 25 digs, two blocks and two assists across the two matches.
 
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Henley Gentry, Covenant
Defensive Specialist/Libero |  Sophomore  |  Arlington, Texas
 
Gentry led Covenant’s defensive effort with 21 digs in the Scots’ win over Belhaven to close out their CCS schedule. She also added seven assists and two service aces in the victory.
 
SETTER OF THE WEEK – Julia Wright, Asbury
Setter |  Sophomore  |  Lexington, Ky.
 
Wright helped direct Asbury’s offense during a 2-0 week that included a pair of conference victories over Piedmont and Huntingdon. She finished the week with 27 assists and added two service aces as the Eagles completed the unbeaten stretch.
 
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK – Lillian Gaskins, Piedmont

Gaskins contributed across the rotation for Piedmont, totaling 27 kills and 30 digs during the week. She also added five service aces, two assists and a block while providing consistent production for the Lions.

ABOUT THE COLLEGIATE CONFERENCE OF THE SOUTH
The CCS is an NCAA Division III athletic conference that began play during the 2022-23 academic year. The conference features seven member institutions (Agnes Scott College, Asbury University, Belhaven University, Covenant College, Huntingdon College, LaGrange College, and Piedmont University) and sponsors championships across 16 sports. In addition to sharing the member institutions' geographic identity, the name 'Collegiate Conference of the South' is indicative of a shared commitment to academic excellence, which is commensurate with the NCAA Division III philosophy.
