ATLANTA, Ga. (February 16, 2026) – The Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) has announced its Women’s Basketball Players of the Week.
Emily Sizemore (Asbury) was named
Player of the Week, while teammate,
Anna Hellums (Asbury) earned
Rookie of the Week, released by the league office on Monday.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Emily Sizemore, Asbury
Guard | Junior | London, Ky.
Emily Sizemore delivered a dominant week to lead Asbury to a perfect 3-0 record in CCS play, winning three games in three days at home. The junior guard totaled 67 points across the stretch, averaging 22.3 points per game while shooting an efficient 72 percent from the field. Sizemore connected on 11-of-18 attempts from beyond the arc (61 percent) and added 17 rebounds, eight assists, and eight steals, impacting the game on both ends of the floor. She continues to lead the CCS in scoring at 21.0 points per game and currently ranks tied for eighth nationally in NCAA Division III in points per game.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK– Anna Hellums, Asbury

Freshman guard Anna Hellums continued her strong debut campaign, helping Asbury secure a 3-0 week in conference play. Serving as a key contributor off the bench, Hellums totaled 30 points on 60 percent shooting from the field and an impressive 75 percent from three-point range (6-of-8). Hellums also added seven rebounds, six assists, and five steals across the three contests.

ABOUT THE COLLEGIATE CONFERENCE OF THE SOUTH (CCS)
The CCS is an NCAA Division III athletic conference that began play during the 2022-23 academic year. The conference features nine member institutions (Agnes Scott College, Asbury University, Belhaven University, Covenant College, Huntingdon College, LaGrange College, Maryville College, Piedmont University, and Wesleyan College) and sponsors championships across 14 sports. In addition to sharing the member institutions' geographic identity, the name 'Collegiate Conference of the South' is indicative of a shared commitment to academic excellence, which is commensurate with the NCAA Division III philosophy.
