Golfer of the Week, while
Braden Kiley (Piedmont) earned this week’s Men’s Golf
Rookie of the Week, released by the league office on Wednesday.
GOLFER OF THE WEEK – Myles Cunningham, Huntingdon
Sophomore | Winnetka, Ill.
Myles Cunningham turned in an impressive showing at the Jekyll Island Collegiate Invitational, finishing sixth overall out of 150 golfers. Cunningham posted three under-par rounds of 69 (-3), 70 (-2), and 67 (-5) to close with a strong final-round surge. His consistent play across all three rounds played a key role in Huntingdon’s championship run at the Jekyll Island Collegiate Invitational, as the Hawks secured their second consecutive title at the Division III major. Huntingdon pulled away in the final round with a 10-under par 278, finishing 10 strokes ahead of the runner-up to claim their fourth tournament victory of the season.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK – Braden Kiley, Piedmont
Freshman | Bedford, N.H.
Braden Kiley contributed to Piedmont’s strong showing at the Jekyll Island Collegiate Invitational, as the Lions secured another top-10 team finish and posted under-par scores in all three rounds of the event. Competing against a deep field of 150 golfers, Kiley carded rounds of 70 (-2), 75 (+3), and 72 (E) to finish with a three-day total of 217 (+1), tying for 54th overall.

ABOUT THE COLLEGIATE CONFERENCE OF THE SOUTH (CCS)
The CCS is an NCAA Division III athletic conference that began play during the 2022-23 academic year. The conference features nine member institutions (Agnes Scott College, Asbury University, Belhaven University, Covenant College, Huntingdon College, LaGrange College, Maryville College, Piedmont University, and Wesleyan College) and sponsors championships across 14 sports. In addition to sharing the member institutions' geographic identity, the name 'Collegiate Conference of the South' is indicative of a shared commitment to academic excellence, which is commensurate with the NCAA Division III philosophy.
