Doubles Team of the Week.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Ben Moore, Asbury
Junior | Winter Park, Fla.
Ben Moore led Asbury to a 6-1 team victory over Piedmont with strong performances in both singles and doubles play. Competing at the No. 1 position, Moore secured a straight-set win over Mark Backeberg, 6-4, 6-4, to anchor the Eagles’ lineup. He also teamed with Andres Caceres at No. 2 doubles to earn a 6-2 victory, helping Asbury claim the doubles point.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK – Lincoln Shine, Covenant

Lincoln Shine turned in an impressive all-around performance, going undefeated in both singles and doubles as Covenant posted a 2-0 week with two shutout victories. The freshman earned a straight-set win at No. 6 singles against Huntingdon and paired with Gavin Patton for a perfect 2-0 record at No. 3 doubles, securing wins over Huntingdon and Belhaven. Shine’s contributions helped the Scots to dominant 7-0 team victories in both matches.
DOUBLES TEAM OF THE WEEK – James Smith/Steven Fitzsimmons, Maryville
Senior/Freshman | Brentwood, Tenn./ The Hills, Tx.
James Smith and Steven Fitzsimmons anchored Maryville at the No. 1 doubles position, posting a perfect 2-0 record during a 2-0 week for the Scots. The duo earned a 6-3 win over Brevard before adding a 6-1 victory against Piedmont, helping Maryville secure team wins of 7-0 and 4-3.
