PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Grant Price, Maryville
Sophomore | Ponte Vedra, Fla.
In Maryville’s 2-0 week, which included wins of 7-0 at Belhaven and 5-2 over Millsaps, Grant Price delivered a perfect week across singles and doubles play. Competing at No. 2 singles, the sophomore secured straight-set wins over Belhaven (6-2, 6-1) and Millsaps (6-4, 6-3). He carried that momentum into doubles, teaming with Benjamin Schneider for two wins at the No. 3 position, including a 6-4 victory against Belhaven and a 6-2 result versus Millsaps.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK – Steven Fitzsimmons, Maryville

Steven Fitzsimmons turned in a strong all-around showing, contributing in both singles and doubles during Maryville’s 2-0 week. The freshman earned a 6-1, 6-1 victory at No. 6 singles against Belhaven. In doubles, he partnered with James Smith at the No. 1 position to secure wins of 6-1 and 6-2 against Belhaven and Millsaps, respectively.
DOUBLES TEAM OF THE WEEK – Ben Moore/Andres Caceres, Asbury

During Asbury’s 2-0 week, which included a 5-2 win at Midway and a 4-3 victory over Covenant, Ben Moore and Andres Caceres went undefeated at the No. 2 doubles position. The pair earned a 6-4 win against Midway before adding a 6-2 result over Covenant.

ABOUT THE COLLEGIATE CONFERENCE OF THE SOUTH (CCS)
The CCS is an NCAA Division III athletic conference that began play during the 2022-23 academic year. The conference features nine member institutions (Agnes Scott College, Asbury University, Belhaven University, Covenant College, Huntingdon College, LaGrange College, Maryville College, Piedmont University, and Wesleyan College) and sponsors championships across 14 sports. In addition to sharing the member institutions' geographic identity, the name 'Collegiate Conference of the South' is indicative of a shared commitment to academic excellence, which is commensurate with the NCAA Division III philosophy.
